The result: September AOV reached $216
When we started working with CuriousCanvasCorner in June 2026, the shop’s average order value was around $139.
By September, AOV had reached $216 an increase of 45%-55% from the starting range.
And the bigger picture was just as strong:
$51,524.87 revenue from June–September
299 orders
$172 average AOV across the 4 month period
+109.89% revenue YoY
$216 AOV in September

The interesting part? Orders were slightly down year over year, while revenue more than doubled.
That meant the opportunity wasn't simply about getting more orders. It was about helping customers buy more value in each order.
The Challenge
Curious Canvas Corner was already selling a premium product: original fine-art giclée prints on heavyweight 300gsm paper, with curated three-print collections at the heart of the brand.
But the shop had room to make its higher-value options easier to discover and easier to buy.
From the beginning, one of our main goals was clear:
Increase average order value through better product presentation, bundles, cross-selling and shop organization.
What We Changed
We started in June by creating a more consistent buying experience across the shop.
Descriptions were updated, product information was standardized, and consistent infographics were added to help customers understand sizing, quality, packaging and other important details.
But the biggest opportunity was the product structure.
Instead of giving customers only one way to buy the artwork, we created a stronger product ladder:
Single Print → Set of 2 → Set of 3 → Larger Size → Framed Art
This gave customers natural ways to upgrade their purchase.
The original visual strategy specifically introduced Set of 3 options within individual listings to improve product discovery and encourage larger purchases.
We also expanded Mix & Match promotions across the catalog to create more cross-selling opportunities and increase basket value.
Making Larger Purchases Easier
In July, we expanded the available print sizes and introduced a new visual size guide.
Instead of customers having to imagine what dimensions such as 24x36 or 40x60 would look like, the new infographic showed artwork sizes in proportion to a real sofa.
The goal was simple: make customers feel more confident choosing a larger print.
The new size options were rolled out across all 29 Set-of-3 listings and later across 55 single-print listings.
Framing Became a Major AOV Opportunity
One of the clearest signs that the strategy was working came in July.
The client reported her highest-revenue day ever.
When we reviewed the orders, we found that the increase was driven by a higher number of framed purchases, which naturally carried a higher selling price.
That gave us a clear signal: customers were willing to spend more when premium options were presented clearly.
Adding a New Mid-Tier Offer
In August, we introduced dedicated Sets of 2 for some of the shop's strongest designs, including golf, mermaid and poppy art.
This filled an important gap between buying one print and committing to a full three-print collection.
Customers now had more choice at different price points without leaving the brand's premium positioning.
At the same time, we continued expanding larger-size and framed variations.
One golf listing using the newer product structure received 24 orders in 30 days — twice the orders of another top-performing golf listing.
Scaling the Strategy
By September, the new structure had become part of the shop's regular listing strategy.
New collections were being launched as:
Single prints + Sets of 2 + Sets of 3 + Larger-size options
rather than relying on a single product format.
The shop was no longer simply showing customers artwork.
It was giving them clearer ways to buy more of it.
The Results
Starting AOV
$139-$149
June–September Average AOV
$172.32
September AOV
$216
June–September Revenue
$51,524.87
Revenue Growth
+109.89% YoY
The most important result was not simply more traffic or more orders.
It was a higher-value customer basket.
The Takeaway
Curious Canvas Corner already had a strong product. Our job was to make the value easier for customers to see and give them better reasons to upgrade their purchase.
By combining stronger visuals with smarter product options, bundles, larger sizes, framing and cross-selling, the shop created a much stronger buying experience.
The outcome: AOV grew from $139 at the start of the program to $216 in September
